PAWNY Scholarship Award for Racial/Ethnic Minority Doctoral Candidates in Clinical & Counseling Psychology in WNY

PAWNY recognizes the importance of supporting and encouraging underrepresented racial and ethnic minorities to pursue and complete doctoral training in clinical and counseling psychology. To assist with this goal, we have initiated a scholarship gift to be awarded once annually to qualified applicants who are currently accepted/enrolled in a local (WNY) doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology.

Thank you for your interest in donating to this fund! Please do so by using the secure form on this page. Please note that PAWNY is a 501(c)(6) organization and donations made are not tax deductible. Therefore, receipts of your donation to PAWNY can not be used for tax deductions.

Information for scholarship applicants:

Amount of award: We will offer a minimum base amount of $1,000.00 USD annually.

Application process: Interested applicants must submit a CV and a brief letter of interest. Applicants must also request a letter of support from their doctoral degree program training director stating they are a student in good standing and attach a PDF of their graduate transcript. Application materials should be emailed to president@pawny.org.

All applications must be received along with letters of support by the deadline of May 31st each year.
