About Me

Catherine Cook-Cottone, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist, yoga and equine-assisted therapist, and professor at the University at Buffalo, SUNY. She has authored 15 books and 100+ publications on eating disorders, embodiment, mindful self-care, yoga, trauma, and self-regulation. An APA Citizen Psychologist Presidential Citation recipient, she also directs Blue Horse Equine Therapy and writes children's books on mindfulness and anxiety. Equine assisted work for those with EDs in Clarence, NY.
