For skeptics and believers alike, this workshop will uncover artificial intelligence tools for use in support of professional mental health practice. We will explore the ways that AI is currently used in mental health education and practice for marketing, client communications, charting and record keeping, diagnostic recommendations, and session transcripts and summaries. Special attention will be paid to evaluating the ethical implication of the use of AI into different aspects of mental health practice. A review of the future of AI in our mental health practices will be provided.
Kathryn Krase, PhD, JD, MSW, Principal Consultant with Krase Consulting, is an expert on the professional ethics, and the intersection of ethics with legal responsibilities.
